I'm running Minecraft 1.6.2 on Windows 8 x64 with 64 bit Java 7. My inputs are sometimes delayed or not registered. I get ~50 fps in minecraft so it's not just a simple slowdown.
Using a wireless kb/m if that helps.

Any ideas how to fix this ? It's really annoying (And of course, makes Minecraft unplayable)
Thanks in advance !!

I've tried that at least 3 times. [/quotemsg]

I'm at a loss mate. Not sure what else to try and troubleshoot.

I did come across this little article on Steam. It might be helpful:

i'm sure most wireless keyboards, are okay, but ive never used one. I play FPS all the time, and like the responsiveness with the wired keyboards. I'm sure plenty will argue that new wireless keyboards work amazingly well bla bla bla, but I don't enjoy them at all.

Have you made sure to change the batteries :)

Batteries are full. Also, this only happens during Minecraft.

hmmm. Could be lots of thing. Have you updated all drivers mouse/keyboard software? Always a good starting point.

I have.

what about, uninstalling/installing the game again?
what GPU you do you have? I had an issue with BF3 and some lagging, which with further reading I discovered by changing a setting on the Nvidia control panel, and it made a difference. In the Nvidia panel there is a setting for ' prerendered frames' or something like it. It's set at 3 for default. I changed this to one, and it made an enormous difference. worth a try.

I have an asus hd7750-t-1gd5. Also, I've even tried using different versions, but it didn't work.
The problem is probably something to do with Java or LWJGL. When I try to remap Forward to W, it said NONE instead.

hmm, try uninstalling java, and see what happens. It could just be a bad install of an update or patch causing it. Start it from scratch, and do a complete update, (all patches installed ) before using anything.
