I'm experiencing a really strange situation.
My laptop all of a sudden can only connect to the home wifi "local only" and cannot reach the internet. It was fine even a couple of weeks ago. It is a lenovo and runs on Vista. I've tried Vista's "Diagonse and Repair" and "Network and Sharing Center" to no avail. Rebooting doesn't fix it.
This is all the more strange because,
I've done a fair amount of internet search and couldn't find any answer. Any idea why this is happening?

This is all the more strange because,
■all the other wifi devices at home - iPad, wifi music players, smart TV, etc - can connect to home wifi and reach the internet
■my laptop can reach the internet when being connected to third-party wifi networks, such as my work or hot spots
■when I wire my laptop to my home router with lan cable, then the problem goes away and my laptop establishes internet connection
