Hey guys, I need some help pre-ordering BF4 I have never preordered a game before so here are my questions.

1. Buy the disc on amazon and two day ship it so I get it on release date

2. buy the limited edition from origin (what I want to do)

Problems with #2 my neighbor says that on release dates the download speeds are so slow I would be better off getting a disc BUT I read online I get to download it two days before the actual release and trust me my internet is good enough to get it done in atleast two days

Problems with #1 I think my internet given two days will download it before the disc gets here and I can also get the limited edition for the same price as the normal one with two day shipping.

So all you experienced preorders I would like some advise and please dont give "Just do #1" could you please explain your answers? and is the thing where I can download it two days before true?

Thanks,
Isaiah

If you have decent internet and it can handle it, download it. Just decide where you want to download from. Going directly through Origin gives you vehicle shortcut bundle, 3 gold battle packs access to beta and China Rising however no matter where you preorder from you should get China Rising anyway. Uplay is giving away a free copy of Ghost Recon Future Soldier or Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 if you go through them. Gamestop you get Double XP weekend when the game launches. Besides, even if you get the disc you will still almost be guaranteed to have to download an update anyway. That digikeys site posted earlier is expensive as hell if you live in the USA even with the "discount" code.

Go to digikeys.co.uk and find the Pre-Orders section. Click on Battlefield 4 after making sure the correct currency is selected at the top. When it asks for a promotional code in checkout, use the code "DOOM49" - it should give 30% off. When it is released, you'll receive an Origin unlock code. This will make it so you get the game faster and start kicking a** sooner.

See you on the Battlefield,
