In Canadian $.
It has an i7, which is IDEAL for those heavy-duting editing tasks.
Plenty RAM to speed things up and help with multi-tasking.
A neat GPU, which scales very well in SLI.
Enough storage and it's not super slow either (5400RPM).
Great and large PSU, to accomodate future SLI or CF setups if you want it.
A good-looking case; which also supports the motherboards USB 3.0.
The motherboard is also CF/SLI capable.
This would be a solid place to start from. Your future upgrades would then be:
- Another GPU for more FPS (if lacking)
- An SSD (Faster than a regular SSD and will help with boot times of whatever you put on it)
- Even bigger case, if you want more room for things like epic cooling solutions.
If you've got a copy of Windows already, say so. Then it can be subtracted. Additionally if you know you
only want to use Single GPUs, we can lower the PSU and that makes things cheaper by a little bit.
It would also be helpful if you list the games you intend on playing. This rig would play most games
very well and it's easy to upgrade.
