I’m looking for a prebuilt computer to go into my fitness room. It will be used for running a device called a “Computrainer” which is just a bicycling device that connects to it via USB. The purpose of the computer is to run some downloaded (maybe HD) movies on a 40” LED TV, and run the computrainer’s 3D graphics.
My requirements:
- Here’s a link to the system requirements of the 3D software: http://www.computrainer.com/html/sysreq.html
- Ability to run 2 monitors (40” LED display at 1920x1080, 24” monitor at 1920x1080)
- Watch downloaded HD movies, while running 3D software above

Price is the big issue for me.. I’d like to not “overkill” this setup because I’ve already gone over budget on the rest of the fitness room. Also I’ve assembled desktops myself before, but I have too many projects going on and would prefer to buy a preassembled box. No need for monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc.
Is spending in the $300-$350 range possible for a preassembled desktop computer?

Solution
yes those are very low end spec. A $300 build may actually be overkill :p

edit: just get one with any discreet graphic card that can support multimonitor setups.

That's great news! Where is the best place to purchase a prebuilt setup like this? I dont want to ask too much, but if you could provide a link I would really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Ryan

It sounds like the graphics card is generally people's bottleneck when running the software I linked above. Does the onboard graphics (AMD Radeon HD 8400) sound like it's going to be plenty powerful to run this software while also doing second monitor with windows media player?
I appreciate the help!
