Hi guys,

As per the above subject title, I am currently using a MSI G45 Gaming motherboard + i5 4670k, with a MSI R7970 Lightning with a 650w PSU. Now, the thing is there is this annoying micro stuttering/ static sound that can be heard constantly, whether I am in a game, listening to music or just watching videos.

I've noticed that it only appears after the PC is left powered on for awhile and by doing a reboot of my PC, the stuttering goes away. But it comes back later after a certain period of usage.

Can anyone body advise what is wrong? I have tried updating the BIOS, installing the latest drivers to no avail.

Many thanks and appreciate your help!

hi, just wondering did you solve this issue? I have the exact same problem. I tried everything I could think of. The thing is I have the same motherboard, so maybe its the motherboard?

Hey there, I am so terribly sorry for the late and seriously overdue reply.
To answer your question, no. The issue is not yet fixed and I have had to reboot or log out from the user account every time that happens.

Please let me know if you have any fix/solutions for this. Thank you!
Besides the above, Just wondering if you have this issue as well. Upon a computer restart and when you come to the microsoft windows log in page, is your display by any chance pink? As in all pink, I have to manually remove and reconnect my display cable to revert it back to the original color.

I'm guessing that if there were indeed a issue for this, it would probably be the graphic card, rather than the mobo that you and I have. Just trying I suppose. Let me know ya.

Also just encountered this exact same issue. I think I'm going to send back the motherboard. Sounds like the onboard audio is messed up. This mobo has a 3 year warranty so you might want to consider doing the same.
