You have "New Volume" which isn't assigned to a drive letter, so isn't currently being used.

You need to delete that partition and expand C to take up the space left, or set "New Volume" to be a D:\ drive for data for example.

what the total size? Look like you have a partition of 313 GB.

how do I expand my C drive ?

Giving it a new letter would create a separate drive.

I would prefer to combine the leftover GB into my current one.

do you know what clone mean? it mean to make identical copies of something. The old drive is 152gb, the clone drive will be 152gb.

Use something like http://www.partition-tool.com/download.htm
remove the new volume partition. then expand the new C drive.

this is what I have now

Shame I couldn't combine them.

However, on the plus side, If i upgrade to an SSD it will be easier,
because a 500gb SSD would be expensive to clone to.

I use a million-year old version of Norton Partition Magic to manage my partitions - lets you expand them on the fly. My copy must be ten years old, there must be plenty of great utils on Sourceforge that can do the same thing.
