Need help with Network Adapter

I have an external network adapter but I can't get it to work. When I try connect to a network, the adapter doesn't show up. Do I need to install a driver for it? I don't have a disc for it. I looked around online to find a driver but no luck. It's plugged in correctly and all 3 lights are green...

While I have never used that brand, I have attached a number of Windows 7 machines using powerline and I have only ever had to install the powerline driver on the machine attached via powerline. Most will then connect to the router where the other adapter has an Ethernet cable attached to a router LAN port.

I would remove any USB attached devices that you don't need to have attached while installing the drivers.

The problem comes in if your particular powerline adapters set up their own network, hopefully that will not happen as it requires a bit more work.

You probably need to run their software utility to complete the setup once you have both the adapters plugged in and attached with Ethernet cables to the router and computer...

Yes it does plug into a wall outlet, and yes, it is that one. I downloaded the driver and it detects 3 devices, which is the 2 adapters I'm using and a temp dongle I think. What do I do with this software utility? And how do I connect using the network adapters? Sorry to sound like an idiot but the user manual isn't very clear. Thanks for helping me
