solution for laptop

hello..can you tell me why my laptop getting slow and lag when playing video games?
For example, I play Prototype 2,for a minute and it's okay and after 10 minute it start getting slow and slowly and then unrespond.
Can anybody help me with this problem?

Sounds like an overheating issue. What laptop do you have?

You can check your temperatures using a free program called HWMonitor.

Make sure you are playing on a flat surface that allows plenty of airflow to get to the bottom of the unit.

Okay, install that program and leave it running while you are playing games. After, look at the max value for CPU and GPU temperatures and then let us know.
