FPS Spikes In Games

Hi guys
In most of my games like BL2, Skyrim and the witcher 2. I seem to get really bad FPS when I turn around. They seem to drop from 60 to 40 and then back to 60. They also stutter when exploring the world. I've seen videos where people play these games maxed out with no problem Could you help me? Here are a list of my system specs

FX 6100 3.3 GHZ

GTX 650TI 2GB

Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

550 Watt PSU

8GB of RAM

drop to 40 FPS is problem? I think you shouldn't be nervours. I play almost all the time at 35-45 FPS
But still you can check : maybe you have bad anti-virus which is scaning, updating while in game.
Lots of viruses
What is your PSU manufacturer by the way?

It's an EVO I believe. Skyrim is the worst as it goes below 30 FPS most of the time

I use Microsoft security essentials, about a year old, yes I use a real copy of Windows 7 and about 45c-50c

Microsoft has giving me no problems. I think what I'm doing is turning settings for the games up to the max and I should really be lowering them. When I look at those videos again the FPS was the same as mine so that's mu fault do apologise about that.
