Ridiculously low framerates

I just built a computer a few months ago. It has been running perfectly but this week, randomly, my fps on League of Legends has dropped from a consistent 55-65fps to 15fps in teamfights, I am pretty noob with problems like this and have no idea even where to start to try and diagnose and fix the problem. So any advice would be super helpful. My set up looks like this: ASUS Z87-pro mobo with an Intel 4670-k processor and my GPU is an XFX DD 7870. So please help me!

no, like i said, i really have no idea what im doing with this. i didnt realize that the drivers could get messed up and need to be replaced. ill try that now, thanks!
