Hi, I'm looking for fans that will work the the Corsair Carbide 500r built in fan controller. I recently bought a Bitfenix Spectre Pro 200mm fan to replace the stock 200mm that came with the case. There is a pretty particular plug that hooks into the case so the front I/O panel controls will work, and i had to do some shaving down to get the new fan plug to fit into it. The fan speed control works, but the LED controls dont. Are there fans out there that are made to fit into controllers like this one? or is it absolutely proprietary to Corsair?

yes let me guess the specter pro used a 4 pin and the built in contoler uses 3 and also your out of luck with the leds
