which exact version of windows 8 to choose?

I was thinking about purchasing windows 8 to upgrade my pc (im still on vista lol) and when it comes to windows im really not sure which version to choose could you guys point me in the direction of which version of windows 8 to choose?

Yes, i am sure of it. I have never actually used windows xp/vista/7/8 pro/ultimate and have always been able to run my computer great.

windows 8 64bit can use up to 128GB of ram without needing the pro version.

between 7 and 8 the licensing changed and they changed the ram limits.

That's great news, base 8 would be AWESOME compared to 7.
