I have some extra parts laying around, and would like to make a htpc/regular use pc for my room. I have a Phenom II x2 555 not being used at the moment, a CM V6 GT 165mm tower cooler, a hdd, and a cheap psu from an old hp that i may or may not use and a Geforce 210 1gb ddr2. Was looking to buy the nzxt vulcan which is matx and supports the cooler
Since I'd rather not go out and buy a intel or fm2 motherboard and a new cpu I rather get use of the phenom II i currently have. Being it has to be am3+ or am3, but mostly am3+ as can easily buy new. Only concern is that all am3+ matx boards are all 760g chipset and have a terrible power design. I usually go asus, and my friend has used their am3+ 760g board and their a55 fm2 one, but would like to know the best quality one as i think the most expensive matx am3+ board is like $65.
