So I wanted to switch my processor with a different one but after I took them both out, I realized it won't fit, so I put it back in and my computer doesn't boot. It turns on and the fans work, my power button light turns on for a second then goes off. I don't hear any beeps, so I took out all my ram and I heard the continuous beeping. So I'm guessing it's my ram? Even though it was just working before I took out my processor. I know my processor is correctly plugged it because I felt it get warm before I put the heatsink fan on. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, if you need my specs let me know.

You mean completely take everything apart then putting it all back together?

You should never run the CPU without the heatsink/fan.

Is is seated in correctly? Did you match the notch?: http://www.pcstats.com/articleimages/201206/install1155_DSCF3460.jpg

I would make sure all power connections are secure. Then, only put in 1 stick of RAM in the correct slot (consult manual). If it still doesn't work, try each stick in the 1 slot.

Yes I know, but I didn't leave my computer on for more then 5 seconds, and so taking apart everything really my best solution?

And also I tried almost every single combination with the ram sticks
