I have 2 desktop computers (1 is mine 1 my family uses) and wanted to move my desktop into my room. Is there a program I can install to receive a wireless connection?

Thank you

Solution
Windows comes with the ability to access wireless networks. You will first need to have a wireless network which usually is included in the modems for Comcast and Uverse. You will additionally need to get either PCI wireless cards or USB wireless that allows Windows to detect the wireless network. The wireless network password is found on the wireless modem or router.

The USB adapters are easiest to use since they don't require that you open your case. I have used adapters from companies that I don't recognise the name and they work just fine. Look at the specs and make sure they support your operating systems and you should be just fine. I just bought one for a laptop that couldn't connect with the wireless onboard card and it cost me just $12.98. So don't pay too much.
