Hi,

I have a SAMSUNG NP-Q330-JA02CA laptop. After a crash, I lost every thing. I was able to reinstall Windows and rebuild the drivers. Every thing is working fine except for the sound and the microphone. I have a message saying "No audio Device installed". I tried the sound drivers on SAMSUNG site for the NP-Q330, but it is still not working. I'm looking for a "Recovery Disk to Factory Setting" So I can bring it back ro factory setting an start anew.

Hey there,
Have you considered the Samsung Recovery Solution application, there is a small how to guide here showing you how to restore the original samsung partition, but unfortunately it sounds like the laptop would need to go in for re-imaging from the supplier if that does not work,

To clarify you have downloaded the Win7 sound driver from the website here (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/NP-Q330-JA02CA-downloads) and applied it through your device manager?

Hi Nathan,

The Samsung Recovery Solution works on something to recover. After a real bad crash there was nothing to recover. I recreated the partitions and reinstalled everything anew. However, the Audio devices (sound and Mic) refuse to work. I'm quite sure it's not something with the hardware, it's software related. I'm looking for a "Factory Setting recovery disk" either from Samsung (their Support said they don't have one) or from someone out there who could make a basic one from his machine and drop it somewhere to download (someone who has a stable working machine).

Thank you for your suggestion.
