battlefield 4, arma 3 blacklight retribution, planetside 2, watch dogs, dayz standalone

Planetside 2 is a GPU accelerated PhysX game that will require the GTX 650 Ti Boost in order to enable the full effects. Watch Dogs is part of Nvidia's partnership with Ubisoft that will bring exclusive Nvidia technologies to the game. The GTX 650 Ti Boost will not only allow extra graphics settings, it's also a higher performing card than the 7850.

In theory, the extra capacity will be more important than the speed, especially when moving from 1GB to 2GB, as games can take full advantage of the extra VRAM. However, this is more true with higher resolutions. The most important thing will always be the GPU itself, significantly more important than the RAM. What two cards are you comparing?

For that price range, I would highly recommend getting this card: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-01gp43655kr

Also, what games will you be playing?

drifting abit of topic here... if you want to play those games on high-ultra settings, I would suggest investing 40-50$ more and getting a 650 ti boost or 660. On the other hand, if you don't mind medium settings, I would suggest the 7850.
