Hello, I am working on my next gaming PC build and I need help choosing what windows 8 to buy. I am getting windows 8 because it came stock on my stock PC I bought and then upgraded a ton, btw huge waste of money never do it, but anyways I did however keep the MoBo and CPU that had Windows 8 on it and I have had no problems with Windows 8 and I am used to it so I want to keep with it. But if I am building my own rig what Windows 8 should I buy? System builder? Pro? I have no idea what one is on my PC so i need help choosing. Please link the cheapest one because I am on a budget. I want my PC to be around $1000 my main parts if you care or it matters are
AMD Radeon 7970 Sapphire
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

Great. So upon uploading this, do I put it on a flash drive then plug it in my PC at bootup? I have never completely built a PC so I have no idea how the windows 8 is installed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_8_editions Here's the differences of the different versions. Most people just need the features in the regular windows 8. 64bit is a no brainer for more than 4 gb ram. And there's only oem (aka system builder, oem system builder, retail, full) or upgrade. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0094NY3R0

The ones you buy will be the dvd. You could always clone it to usb if you want.

I believe I have the version you listed, if I am correct, Windows 8 Pro has an icon bottom left you can click just like windows 7, in my version I do not have this and I have to scroll down there and a pop-up comes and it takes me to the start screen. Is this the same version linked?

Windows 8 pro does not have a start button. They do not look or act different in any way. I have regular on my laptop, pro on desktop. If you don't use the extra features, they don't run. The start button you are referring to is the 8.1 update which is for all versions and will be out in october.
