First timer - Building a Performance Rig.

Hey everyone, I'm building my first computer and looking for input and advice from those who know what they are talking about :)

Firstly I will be using it for university (Archicad, Autocad, 3D design) as well as gaming.

My budget is in the region of 2000 - 2300. Although my first time I want to get something which is in a way a challenge - I'm addicted to technology and improving so will be looking to overclock and water-cooling.

More about timer building performance rig
  1. Everything looks great, I would go for a 16:10, 16:9 config rather than 21:9, I am using CAD and programming myself and scrolling up and down is not what you want.

I've been going back and forth on this for a while now. Trying to find someone who has one to get their opinion and see how bad it would be. The lure of watching movies and the wow factor are appealing but I'm not willing to sacrifice much efficiency for pleasure.

there isn't anything wrong, just the ratio would make productivity isn't that good.
