Is the Z87 UD5H a really good board?

I have not seen many reviews on this board besides only a few on Newegg reviews and was just wondering is the Gigabyte Z87 UD5H a good board that can handle overclocks? I've always liked Gigabyte motherboards and find them reliable so is the UD5H basically one of their high end boards?

Thanks!

Haven't had my hands on one of those yet, at that price point I've pretty much settled on the Asus Hero, Asus seems to have the best handle on the Z8 chipset from what I've seen in builds

Yes it's one of their mid high end designs and it overclocks like a champ. It's a decent mobo but i personally agree with Tradesman1

I read from another thread on another forum that the UD5H has stronger VRM, is this a big deal? And also isn't Gigabyte quality up there with Asus? I always see people recommend either an Asus or a Gigabyte

You'll get different opinions from different people, I only build on Asus, GB and the Rock and am sure I'll build on the the UD5H sooner or later, but as mentioned, with the Hero, there's no complaints, took it straight to 4.6 with no problems and same with the others I built on

I am leaning towards the UD5H, not that I have anything against the Asus, it's just that I actually had the Z77X UD5H before and it was awesome, and I believe the UD5H is easily hackintoshable as well

Just was wondering if the Z87 UD5H was same or better quality than the Z77

MY guess is Yes, and I did build on the Z77, it was a good mobo
