I am trying to Dual channel with Memory of 2gb x 2 and 4gb x 2 but it doesn't work , i know that it usually isn't a good idea to mix the two. But I have done it before with the exact same sticks BUT i had a different motherboard that was older. The MHz is 1600 for 2gb and 4gb so i figured it should be fine since it just runs on same amount of speed? just different Amount of GB of ram is what i think. I have read over 20 posts and i have tried them but none of them really helped.

-Important Part-

When i do "Dual-Channel" them , the computer turns on with no display (Cant access bios ).
When i run them single it works all the way to desktop or bios.

I also noticed that in CPU-Z it says im using dual channel but i am only using slot 1 and 3.

Alright i figured out what my two memory are but i notice their timings are different

Solution
Generally I suggest against mixing sets of DRAM at all, and particularly under certain conditions - and you've covered most of them here - A) mixing brands/models B) mixing base voltages 1.65 and 1.35, C) Mixing timings CL-7 and CL9.. I do this stuff all the time for folks and not sure I could get these to play - think I'd try 1333 with 9-9-9-24, 1.55, 2T ...but wouldn't hold my breath...think I'd just stick with the 4 GB sticks, sorry :(
Are the latency timings of the 2gb sticks the same as the 4gb sticks ?
Are the voltage requirements for both the 2gb stick and 4gb sticks the same.

check to see what sticks are in slot 1 and 3.
Slot 1 and three should be dual channel mode anyway.
It normally goes slot 1-3 dual mode
slots 2-4 dual mode.

Would i put the timings lower or higher and could you be more specific because i actually don't know much in the bios and sorry to be a bother but i don't know much about the settings in it >< like ex: Overclocking -> cpuz - > etc...

Corsair XMS3 10220211 , CMX4GX3M2A1600C7 , 1600 MHz 4GB(2x2GB) 7-8-7-20 1.65V ver7.1

For Crucible Click on the newegg link or ill post what newegg posted because i don't wanna pull the sticks out BUT i am willing to do it if you really need me to.
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Timing 9-9-9-24
Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.35V
