Broken hdmi input gtx770

Hi I just bought a MSI gtx 770 Lightning gpu and I broke the HDMI tooth in the port

I can't send it back because it was my fault so I was wondering what I could do to make up for the lost HDMI?

I should be recieving my Asus 3d monitor tomorrow to see if the card still works, but if it doesn't, it's like buying a Xbox one the first day it comes out and throwing it into the bath-tub!!

but if it works how can I substitute the HDMI in/out?

Like if I wanted to hook my xbox up to the computer or something. Also if I could hook it up to my tv. I want to know if the damaged HDMI port will mess the card up?

Also Is there a place I can send it to get fixed, I bought it from Newegg? I bought it less then a week ago.

I have the Asus Z87 Mobo with hdmi and is there a program to use the hdmi and gpu together like the gpu through the mobo hdmi?

It's only an output, not an input you know that right

.

You could use a DVI-HDMI connector, but i don't think you'll have sound then. It does have DP connectors right? You could use those as well with the right adapter

you have more than one port, try using the others plugins. I'm not sure what you mean when you say you broke the hdmi tooth can we get a picture? Even if its your fault I'd still talk to either newegg or MSI about your options.

Hello, I have a GTX 770, and i cant use my DVI and my HDMI together... this is normal?

Not to bring this back from the dead, but to give an update: The Card work for its whole life span a good year and a half, in the end I replaced it with a GTX 980 sli.

So the HDMI port didn't matter in the end thank you!!!
