Do I have a dying CPU?

About three days ago, my computer started freezing like no other. It started with blue screens citing a problem with Storport.sys. Now I'm experiencing problems with constant freezing for 1-2 minutes at a time. I'm using windows 7. Is there anyway I could determine what if any part of my computer is dying?

edit: Apparently the rest of my post got deleted.

My entire computer is a 5 year old custom build. Here are my system specs.

Motherboard: Asus PSN-D
Harddrive: Hitachi HDP 725050GLA
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 9800gtx/9800 gtx+
Processor: Intel quad core Q6600

BSOD isn't really an issue anymore. Although next time it happens I will write down the error code.

Edit: Also I have the speed fan utility on my computer checking the temps of my components. I checked all the temps of my components on a hang/freeze and none of them top 65*c at any given point.
