Hello everyone, **DISCLAIMER** Total noob here...

Im building my new gaming pc and I made the terrible error of buying the Seidon 240M from Cooler Master to fit into my Antec 1200 v3 case. To my dismay, it didnt fit internally, and because it is an all-in-one, I couldnt fit it externally.

My question to all of you involves the Alphacool NexXxoS Cool Answer 240 LT/ST - Set. Id love to use something like this to fit my computer case. I just wanted to know if it would be doable.

Here are the links to all the parts.
Water-Cooling Kit:

Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

For the record, I have checked to make sure it is compatible with my AM3+ processor, and the block checks out.

Please let me know:)
Thanks guys!

If you didn't have such an expensive case, I'd be screaming for a case mod here - a quick cutting out of one of the back fan grills and, BOOM, instant pass-through for the waterblock part, then run the Seidon externally.
With the AlphaCool system you would be able to run your rad external - I couldn't think of any reason why it wouldn't work

With an external mount, could i just screw the rad to the case through the front of the fans? Or would I have to construct a custom rig?

That's exactly what I did with my AMD system

There are mounting solutions out there such as http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g30/c637/s1731/list/p1/... which go from exotic and expensive to cheap but functional and depending upon how your mounting works out and the proximity to any PCI slot you may find a mount helpful but it isn't something on the "necessary for water cooling" list

Thanks for the link. I'll have to look into those. I ran into some trouble today with a previous water cooler I bought by mistake (Seidon 240M by Cooler Master). I was going to try to mount that as a front mount directly to the 2 blue led 120mm fans in the front of my case. I just removed the hard drive bays and fans. Then I screwed the fans to the radiator, but now I have no means to secure the fans to their casing in the front of the case nor the case itself.

Im just struggling with how to properly do a front mount without having to do any modding to the case itself.:/

Your chassis is unique - I've checked out a few reviews
But I did find this video (H100 which is about the same size I think) with an internal mounting - Is there an interference problem that prevents the mounting shown in this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzyKRifUPrg such as the door not closing properly or...

I actually found that video earlier on yesterday. After work, I went home and successfully managed to mount my Seidon 240m into the front HDD bay! Thanks so much for being helpful. Youve made me journey onto tom's very welcoming.

It's awesome you got the Seidon to work.
You are quite welcome, that is why we're here after all

Also, don't hesitate to share your experience(s) with others here
