Plugging in a Monitor

I'm new to monitors and how they are plugged in. How exactly do I plug in my monitor and does it connect from GPU to the monitor?

The monitor comes with a HDMI -> DVI cable.
The GPU has a DVI output.

You should be fine. DVI on the GPU, HDMI on the monitor.

Yes you would plug it from GPU to monitor. Or you could use the DVI to HDMI cable from the monitor vendor(supplied with the product).

So plug the HDMI port to the back of the monitor and the DVI port to the back of the GPU. Refer to the MB manual for better understanding.
