External Hard disk not visible

Hi,
my WD external hard disk when plugged to usb port it is shown as local disk and when i tried to open disk management it is not opening and i cannot access my external hard disk

It doesn't show in Disk Management, or it won't open in Disk management? Does it show in Device Manager?

Hi,

Try on another computer, if problem persist, RMA if under warranty or open the case and plug it in directly in a computer.

actually before plugging in the external hard disk disk management is showing all drives but after plugging in its not showing
