Hey guys I got quick question that I would like answered. Yesterday I went out and bought a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo for my new computer. I have a Corsair 550D case and thought it would be good idea to have the fan facing the top of the case, which hase a removable panel. However I have since realized that the fan the cooler came with is a sleeve bearing and should not positioned horizontally. So now I want to rotated the cooler so it pushes air out the back.
The question then is can I just loosen the brackets rotate the heatsink without having to remove and applly new paste? The computer has been on for about 16 hours now with some 100% load during that time.
