Hi,

4-5 months back I've changed My mother board to Gigabyte's combo mother board i.e. Ultra Durable motherboard G41M-Combo.

I just want to know that what is the maximum size of internal hard disk this mother can support i.e. 1TB or 2TB etc or less than that and also suggest which is the best durable and value for money brand for internal hard disk.

Thanks.

Solution
Even old motherboards support 2TB drives. It's only when you go over this limit that it can become a problem. As stated, since it's a modern board, it should easily work with larger drives. If the board is not EUFI, you won't be able to boot from drives larger than 2TB, but you can still use them for storage.
I've looked on Gigabytes website and read the manual, no max capacity is specified for hard drives (not that I can find anyway).
However, since it's a recent model I would be very surprised if it did not support the current generation of multi-terabyte drives.
If you want a brand recommendation based on my own experience over 20 years, get a WD drive.

Thanks a lot for taking time and giving ur kind reply. That's the problem, I am having its user manual but no where it is mentioned that what is the maximum size I can installed.

My only concern is that, it shld not happen that I buy 2TB and then it gives surprise that this can not support 2TB

Seagate or WD are the two best brands for HDDs. Get a WD Blue/Black or a Seagate Barracuda.
