Hi I just installed Nvidia 560 and have my HDTV hooked up as a secondary screen to watch movies on. My problem is that the colors are lighter compared to my primary monitor, I've tried playing around with the Nvidia color settings but that doesn't help. But when I move a (any) window from my monitor to the HDTV the colors would become normal (same as my monitor), but when I move it away it'll go back.

Please help, thanks!

I'm kind of confused because you say that the colors are different but when you move a window to the HDTV the colors are the same.

Assuming you meant that the colors return to normal when you move a window from the HDTV to the primary computer monitor, it's likely the case that the HDTV's display panel is simply not as good (and therefore does not have as much color range and/or color accuracy). You can mess with the contrast and brightness but you won't be able to change the quality of the panel.

Thanks for replying. Actually it's the other way around. I meant when I move a window from my monitor to the HDTV, the color of the wallpaper on the HDTV (which is the same wall paper on my primary monitor) will match my primary monitor. I am using "Extend these displays". However, everything was perfectly fine with my previous ATI video card.

Oh I see what you mean now. So the color on the HDTV changes based on whether or not you have a window displayed on the HDTV? Sounds like a weird issue. I'm not sure what's going on there. You might want to go into the NVIDIA control panel and mess with some settings for the HDTV there such as the refresh rate (try 50Hz).
