Tried to connect new HP wireless printer via Netgear router. My router password wouldn't work for the setup. Netgear tech says my files corrupted/programs stopped. Wants to charge me $90 to clean up files. Says 87% usage by these. My Trend Micro has not reported anything. I clear my history trail everyday & delete temp files often. Is it true that these stopped programs can stop him from retriving my correct password to Netgear router which prevents setting up the printer as wireless. I have no problem with a smart TV, Tivo, Verizon broadband & Vudo movies going through it. Is this a scam by Netgear?
