I thought if you plugged in your case reset lead into the direct key header o the motherboard, you could press the reset button on your case and the system would put you into the UEFI? I have done this but all my system does when pressing the reset switch is power off the monitor and my case is still powered on. It's like it's not doing anything. Am I missing something? All you need to do is plug the reset lead from the case into the direct connector 2 pin on the motherboard and this would work? Maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks :)

Solution
Using the direct key from the case reset button requires that your pc be powered down. All the direct key does is when you power up, it boots directly to bios without you having to mess with the function keys. You cannot use it to access bios from a running pc.
