Alright, so I have a strange problem, I'm going to do my best to explain it and hopefully you guys can help.

So my new router, the D-Link DIR-865L, is working great for the most part. All my computers connect to it with a strong signal, and the connection is very fast. However, every once in a while (every two days or so), my router is unable to access the internet. All my computers say that they have internet access, but are unable to access any web page except for the admin page of my router. The only solution I have found is to renew the internet connection, but this is only temporary. I need to find what the problem is, because my parents are really bad with computers and can't renew the internet connection by themselves.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Solution
i havent had one that new go down but possible.i had two fail in less than 6 mos tho.next time you lose connection try hardbooting and see if it works.this is a pretty good indication that the router is at fault.

No, I haven't but how could this be possible? I just bought it about 20 days ago... Should I return it and get another one or is there some setting that I have enabled/disabled that causes this to happen?
