EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti underClock

I have recently acquired an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB video card. It is apparently factory overclocked by +78 MHz. It seems that the base clock speed for this core 915 MHz.

What I am wondering is how to go about reversing the factory OC, and reducing the clock speed down to the base frequency?

Why would you want to do that? Best to leave as is and if not functioning correctly you should return it for replacement.

I want to do it because I have read several reviews that say that the factory overclocking causes the card to become unstable. I figure that it would be the most stable at it's base frequency.

Well if it becomes unstable then you can claim warranty since it is not delivering what is promised. Other wise you could have saved your money and bought a std card.

I have now officially installed and tested the card, and I was right, it is unstable. I will see what EVGA says about the warranty bit or if they have a solution. For some reason it keeps crashing during Skyrim and talking about nv4_disp.dll.
