I keep getting a notification that my "USB device is not recognized", I did some troubleshooting and it said i don't have "SM bus controller". Looked around on tom's hardware and the likely problem is I don't have the correct intel chipset driver, I tried a bunch of drivers and can't seem to find the one that will work. I was hoping someone here would be able to send me the link to the correct driver/suggest something else for me to do. My motherboard is ASrock z87 pro3. I'd really appreciate any help, thanks!

Get the chipset driver from intel website, File name:infinst_autol.exe, then you can solve the SM bus controller problem. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=20775
If you use win7, you can get USB driver from intel website too, but intel does not has the driver for win8. But win8 comes with it.
