Greetings everyone,
I'm new to computer building, and just built a computer with a gigabte z77 MoBo and a Haf912. I have noticed that my computer lasts a few seconds (maybe 4 or 5) between the moment i press the power button and my screen lights up. I'm not used to this happening form my previous systems and i'm scared maybe i connected something wrong. My reset button is wierdly "intermitent", not sure if it is supposed to be that way.
Thanks a lot for you help.

PD: i don't think is lack of power (got a corsair 750) nor hard drive speed since my boot is on a ssd.

That is probably normal.
It takes the bios a variable amount of time to enable all the chips on the motherboard.
Sometimes there is a ram check in the bios which you can disable to speed things up.

The reset button is only a momentary switch like the power button. Check that it is not loose.
I don't use it anyway.

Oh i just got into the BIOS and saw my secondary HDD was set as th primary boot option, so i placed the ssd back up and it started a lot faster. I guess some of those seconds were because my system was trying to boot from anther place, failed, and then started from the SDD.
