Hello, I am using an BenQ XL2411T with a GTX660TI. When playing any game and my FPS drops bellow 85 or 90 it starts to feel laggy like I am playing with 50 FPS on a 60HZ monitor. I was wondering if there is any way to fix this, I thought that 60FPS on a 144Hz monitor should look better than on a 60Hz one.

i think, and i might be wrong, 60fps on 60hz should be the same as in 144hz
do you have vsync disabled? it might just be psychological.
maybe there are only some areas where the fps drops below 60 and you just did not see it, some spikes maybe?

well, you cannot eliminate them completely, even high end cards tend to have these sometimes.
maybe what you can do is run some bench and record the fps somehow.
i have a 120hz, and at ultra (in bf3), there are times that fps dips below 60, but its ok. it happens. i don't see it much since im enjoying the game.

yes adaptive vsync was designed for situations such as yours
it would lock your fps to the nearest possible cap(i.e 30, 45, 60 etc.)
