Hello everyone,
I have a HP DC7800 which has Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53Ghz,3GB RAM,200GB HDD 7200rpm,Nvidia GT220,Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit and 240watt PSU.Because my GT220 is DDR2 and it isn't very good in gaming I would like to know if a ATI Radeon HD 6570 Low Profile will work in my system as my PSU it's 240watt.Please respond.

I read on a review that the peak power consumption was 202 watts, which will make it really dangerous to have a 200 psu for this, as psu is sued for other things as CPU and sometimes monitor, if u played a heavy game that will put load in the GPU, the computer might crash and you will need to restart due to shortage of watts supplement. A 400W supply is recommended for this card officially, so whats your budget and do you have some bucks to spend on a PSU?

So, whats your budget that you want to spend on buying a new case?
If you dont want to buy a case(or cant afford it), i will recommend that you stay away from equipping this GPU on the mentioned 200W PSU, you wont even start a game for 15 mins and BUM, pc crash :/

The 400W PSU is pretty enough for this GPU, although i agree with you that the 500W psu will be of an advantage when coming to an upgrade but i think that its not worth the buy since you own the 400W already, most of the GPU these days are recommended to be with 600W psu, so when you come to upgrade the GPU(say after 2 years), even 500W psu will be very weak one..

My PSU is 240watt not 200watt.I asked a guy in a greek forum and it told me that 6570 Low Profile will work in my PC?Unfortunately I can't buy a new case.Is there any similar performance card which could work in my 240watt PSU?
