What is wrong with my Flash Drive?

All of the files that I copied to my flash drive turned into shortcuts but the files are still there. I've reformatted it but even after doing so, the files that i transfer still change to shortcut. How can I fix this? Please help..:(

I believe if you cannot COPY PASTE without the computer creating a shortcut, then your computer may be infected. This is not a normal behavior. That it is happening with your flash drive I think I either a coincidence or possibly by design of the bug. I do not believe your flash drive could cause this to happen.
