Hello,
These are the parts I have picked out and i was wondering if anyone could tell me the FPS at 1080p? on arma3/bf3 Thanks!

Parts:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 3.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: ASRock B85 Pro4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

RAM: two Patriot Viper 3 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory = 8GB

Disk Drive: LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer

PSU: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

Case: Zalman Z5 Plus ATX Mid Tower

And last but not least OS: Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

Budget: under 1000$
Purpose: Gaming

Change the PSU to an Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, XFX unit for sure.

at least an FX 8350 or an i5,

You could change to an i5 4430 and a b85/h87 motherboard.

Then drop the cooler because you will not be overclocking.

Looks good to me. You could change the PSU to a QUALITY 600w but the xfx550 will be fine because you won't be overclocking the CPU. I would not worry about it.

At 1080p you should max all games. 60fps.

You will be over 60fps and that is all that matters because you will only be playing at 60fps.

No, I would not use a 500w PSU.

It depends which 600w PSU. The 550w from XFX you have there will be fine.

You could bump up to a 1tb HDD if you want

Is it DDR3 RAM? You don't need to buy more RAM if that RAM will work.

You will have to reinstall windows on the HDD but you can probably reuse it. Is it SATA?

next to the ram slots on the motherboard it says DDR3 1800 O.C
The ram is 4gb each also it says DIMM_A_1 and DIMM_B_1

I would guess it will work fine. Don't buy any RAM in this case.

What PC do you have now?

Athlon II x2 (dont remember exact name)
500w PSU
8gb RAM
500GB HHD (Hitachi)
Windows 7 home premium (on the harddrive)
Case is an AZZA orion 202 evo

Get the XFX PSU you have in the first post. DO NOT reuse that one.

The RAm should be perfectly fine to use again.

The HDD will be fine too as long as you reformat it. You cannot move a HDD with windows on it. It will not recognize it in the new computer and will have to be reinstalled.
