Moving Windows 8 to SSD Cache Drive

I recently bought an Asus VivoBook ultrabook. It comes with a 500GB HDD and a seperate 24gb SSD for caching. I read a review about this laptop somewhere online and it stated that he moved the OS to the SSD to speed things up and then had the HDD for storage purposes.

My question is how do I move the preinstalled Windows 8 over to the SSD? (Please note that this laptop does NOT have an optical drive)

Also, is it worth my time to do so?

Thanks in advance.

A 24GB cache drive is not meant for full installation of the OS, but rather a fast holding place to feed the system. And a 24GB drive is waaaaay too small for everyday use as the OS drive. You could probably make it fit, but you'd have to strip out a lot of Windows functionality.

As an experiment? Sure. Everyday use? No way.

Thanks for the fast reply. That definitely makes sense. So if I was to go out and purchase a new SSD, how I would go about moving Windows over without the use of a dvd drive?
