So I have an SSD that I want to just run my OS, and a 1TB HDD that I want it to store everything on. I intend to partition the SSD in order to run multiple OSs. However, Windows automatically set the SSD as my C drive. How can I make the HDD the C drive so that I can have program files and such automatically install to it?

USAFRet is right, i've never seen an installer where you can't specify a specific install location, you'll just have to do that (though generally people install their programs on the SSD as well since most don't take up much space).

The "C" drive is automatically whatever drive windows is installed on...it's part of the primordial microsoft world.

Yes, you can do this. But you WILL run into issues.

1. How large is this SSD?
2. Installing applications elsewhere is easy, Just choose "Custom" or "Advanced" during the install
3. Documents/Music/Videos are easy to point to elsewhere.
