Modular PSUs allow for un needed cables to be removed from the psu. Full modular allows for all cables to be removed, partly modular allows for core cables to stay in place, but things like PCI to be removed.

That you can connect only the cables that you want to it. A PSU that isn't modular will have all of them already connected.
Having a modular PSU makes the cable management easier.

Though I'd partially disagree with that. In cases where you use ALL of the cables, many times a modular PSU becomes more cumbersome than non-modular where you usually have one giant braid of cables coming out. On a modular you have 12 or so cables coming out the back.

In theory modular is easier to keep tidy yes, but there are times where using non-modular would give you a cleaner look.

Also, I have this cable all the way at the bottom of my case that my current PSU cant reach..it's a fan cable -_-. So will it be able to reach? This is my case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Yep that PSU is modular, and it should reach just fine. Also Seasonic is a great maker.

Building a pc first time
I5 4670k
Asus matrix 7970 3gb
8gb ram
Msi g45 z87 gamming mainboard
500gb hdd
Dvd player
No over clocking

Is corsair 750watts HX series modular psu good enough for these components
Specially for asus matrix 7970 will this power suply work for it
People had a problem of connecting the this graphic card to power supply
Will this power supply work?
