Hi all,

Have recently posted here about Intel builds around the $1600 price range. This is my first build and I have look at various intel builds, with a single GPU and have heard from other people that maybe to look at an AMD build, as I am just gaming and the money I save (AMD parts seem far cheaper than Intel) I can put towards a better / dual GPUs or other components.

I am not looking to overclock this PC and will just be running from one monitor. This PC will be strictly gaming only, and I'd just like the best bang for my buck. I do not require a OS / Mouse / Keyboard / Monitor.

All inputs are welcome, I'd love to hear from you all and what you would recommend in the AMD range.

Here's what I got:

Unfortunately, you won't be able to fit in a second GTX 770 in this budget because Australian prices are extremely high.
However, you will be able to fit one in the future.
I added in a high-end heatsink because you should be overclocking at this budget, especially if you plan to go AMD.
One thing you can add to max out your budget is a 128gb SSD.

I agree with this build and the 128GB SSD suggestion. If you really want to go AMD fanboy you could get a 7970 or wait until the next generation comes out. But yes if you are going AMD then there is no reason to not overclock.
