Okay so I just got my new ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 soundcard from Newegg.ca and installed it into one of my PCI-E slots on MOBO (MSI Z77-GD65). In my device manager in "Sound, video and game controllers" it says "ASUS Xonar DX Audio Device", so it is being picked up. Then I continued on to install windows recommended drivers for card and ran into a error that read "Please plug-in Asus Xonar DX device", so then I read the title of file and figured out they recommended Vista 32-bit drivers.. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. So I went and downloaded those and ran into the same error.. "Please plug-in Asus Xonar DX device". At this point I don't know what to do. I was reading around and saw something about EEPROM ram or something and heard that people got cards that this was completely broken on. But at this point I haven't figured out how to test that or anything. Please help. :)

p.s. I have connected the power cable right (floppy connector.. have tried installing with adapter and straight PSU connector.

I already did that. The drivers downloaded right now are Windows 7 64-bit Version: 7.12.8.1794. Still same message.
