Title says it all. I need to add another hard drive and I'm not sure if adding it will mess my windows oem up. I've read changing any of the internal components will do this but that a call to microsoft can usually get you a new oem code. Anyone have experience with this?

The OEM license is tied to the MOBO of the system - any other components can be changed as much as you want and the license stays intact (sometimes changing several components will require a rerun of the activation wizard to renew the activation with the new components but as mentioned that only takes a quick call to MS at worst) -- Normally adding a new HDD will not effect it in any way unless you intend to reinstall the OS onto the new HDD and delete it from the old HDD.
