network adapter died on mother board
ok, so on the first day i got my new computer ,which was yesterday, i had it on and trying it and the adapter worked fine. I then switched my psu because i had planned to change my gpu also but would not get a display and after i had it back the way it was except the new power supply i tried to hook it up and not even the lights will not come on for the adapter. I have tried reinstalling the drivers, disabling and enabling in device manager but with no success. any idea on what could have fried it while i was trying to switch gpu's or even the psu? because i couldnt event get my new gpu to work on it and ive even had the computer clear and reinstall windows 8 to factory settings which also has not helped any. i feel ive tried everything and would like to know if i need a new motherboard/network adapter. ive probably spent the last 10 hours on this and getting very frustrated.

there are not updates for my bios and i have restarted it before when i was attempting to install my gtx 650ti boost which would not display no matter what i did, but it seems the network adapter is dead for when i uninstalled it it did not find it when i had it search for hardware changes, after i manually installed the drivers but still not working.
