I am in the process of building a new PC. In the meantime I need to buy a new monitor. I was thinking of buying one of these.

1) I have an Aspire 5680 laptop with DVI-D and VGA outputs, will this be able to connect to this screen via a DVI-D to HDMI adapter?

2) Will I be able to connect my XBOX360 to it? It has a HDMI output.

3) The final build of my new PC will be a I5 3570K + 8gb 1600mhz ram and a HD7970 gpu. Will this be able to run games at the maximum resolution of this monitor?

I am in the UK, I am not sure I have to pay the same taxes. Despite this issue, the same questions I asked apply.
