I just wanna buy a real cheap computer for my own purposes. That's the card I'm looking for but I must be looking in all the wrong places cause I can't find it.

All I can think of is ebay, or a trading site, like where my friend traded his old HD-4870 for a 285.. I say he got the better end of that deal, but anyway.. Yeah.. Ebay, Craigslist and the like are all I can think of. While in terms of power it still equals an entry-level gaming GPU (My friend maxes out skyrim at 1366x768, his monitors native res, heavily modded), it is a very old card, and is no longer sold new by retailers. Just remember if you do find one, put new thermal pads on the heatsink to be safe. Good luck on your hunt!

Thank you! :) Just wanting it for a little project, but don't want to spend alot of money. Considering It's old I thought I'd get a bargain. Turns out I can't find it in many places. And yeah I checked ebay. Found a few aswell :D

you obviously haven't read the OP's posts. Pay attention, he wants an older card for a project.

And just for clarification, I think you meant a 7950/GTX760 cost as much NOW, as the 285 did when it came out. They would not be the same price now......Obviously.

Yes, thankyou. I have already seen prices for those the GTX 760 is certainly not $200.

The 285 didnt sell in huge numbers compared to some other cards.

You can pick up gtx 460 easily (used, on ebay) as they sold in big numbers, yet has similar performance to the 285 and is only one generation newer (so still old).
