Hello everyone !

My problem
As the title suggests, after some time playing a game, my monitor gets black and it says "NO SIGNAL", while the computer tower is still working because I can hear it. All I can do is manually restart with the button. Sometimes, I can hear a buffering buzzing sound when the monitors shuts down. Very rarely, I get particles like tv static on the screen, nvidia says "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" or I get a blue screen.

The time before the monitor shuts down varies from game to game. It can be 30 seconds, 5 minutes, 4 hours. But eventually it happens. I played a game with native resolution 1440x900, Very High and it crashed. Then I played it again with 800x600 windowed mode, Very Low and it still happened.

Here is my system:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits
Nvidia 9500 GT
Amd Athlon 7750 Dual-Core @2.7 Ghz
4 GB RAM
Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology, M720-US3
PSU: ATX 450W P4
Monitor: ASUS VW195D, 1440x900 resolution

When it started
My problem started after I replaced my old 9400 GT with this 9500 GT. I replaced it because that 9400 gt fried after a couple of years. When I had the 9400 there were no problems. When the 9400 melted, the monitor also shut down. So the problem should be the new 9500 heating again. However, it doesn't get past 70 degrees C (158 F) while gaming. The CPU doesn't get past 40 degrees C (104 F) while gaming.

Things I've tried
-reinstalling windows clean
-updated nvidia drivers
-trying each memory stick
-opened the tower and checked if the two fans were working (they work)
-playing at minimal settings, low resolution and windowed mode
-blowing dust (I plan to do this again today. I will also try to remove the gpu because there might be dust inside)
-sent the PC to a tehnician; he put new thermal paste in the gpu, but he wasn't able to identify the problem
-checked if there were loose cables

I think the problem is either the gpu or the psu. However, as the gpu doesn't heat, I think it's the psu. What are your thoughts ?

Thank you for reading and sorry for my bad English.

Update:

I used my old Compaq P720 and its two cables and I connected it to the pc. After 3 minutes of playing Dead Space 3 it gave me a blue screen. So it can't be a faulty monitor or faulty cables.

I also used a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust from the pc tower as best as I could.

Any more suggestions ?
